I need to quickly throw together a tool box for my
CD 30K (volvo 7 series 13hp) . Do I need metric
sockets for CLEONA ? Aside from the usual tools
any creative items that aren't in the obvious column?
I have a list of spare parts that I need to acquire
so lets skip that one.

Hi:
I had a Volvo on my last CD-28. The impeller was at the rear of the engine and difficult to get to. I seem to remember I needed an offset screwdriver to remove at least one of the screws. For removing fuel and oil filters, you'll probably want to include a strap wrench in your tool kit.
While not strictly part of a tool kit here's the Volvo Customer Assistance phone number: 804-436-2800. They were helpful the few times I had to call them. I ordered a service manual from them, that was really nice to have.
