Re: cd 27 custom winter cover for sale...
Hey Tim,
What's nice about a cover is you don't have to worry about a thing,
You put her a sleep for 6 months or so, then in April she looks just li
ke you left her in November.

replaced pump...
I know there were cheaper ways to fix my pump problems, but in the end it was much easier to just replace it. 350 well spent, and one less issue to worry about. Dry as a bone, beautiful... Now to tackle the rest of the list, depth gage, replace water tank, complete my cetol project, fix the anchor l...

transducer....
Hey Ron,
So that is an oil, wasn't sure. It's missing about an inch or so. How do you add more oil, and what type do you put in. I tried screwing off the top but it just turns and never lifts off.
Thanks Ron

problems with depth finder tranducers mounted inside hull
On my 27 the transducer is mounted inside the hull, actually in lazaret next to the diesel tank. I have the boat about 4 years over the last two it has only worked a day here or there, 95% time I get no reading. It appears ever since I painted the hull with that Micron stuff I have lost my depth gau...

post overheating issue....
Ok, I replaced the impeller, even though the old one looked fine. My buddy and I motor her hard for 40 mins or so took her out and back. There was no alarm, no overheating and the flow coming out the exhaust looked better than I can recall. The yanmar sounded great, not sluggish at all. I took a few...

over heating....
Good afternoon, I just had my stolen moments put in for the season. After letting the diesel run for 10 mins I motored out to my slip. After about 5mins or so my overheating alarm went off twice. Once I pulled back on the throttle for a minute the sounding alarm stopped, only to start again some 5 m...

Great String..., a couple of tangents here or there, but the theme still stands, what would it take for someone to sail off into the sunset. Personally I am not ready. Some of us have complicated lifes while others are more simplified. And even if I was being a bit rhetorical, it hits a chord with u...
