My plan is to disassemble the entire counter from side to side, strengthen the support in that spot around where you step down through the companionway and then lay a new countertop back over it all.

CD 30C cracked galley counter replacement
Has anyone repaired or replaced the countertop just below the companionway? I have a 6" crack just starboard of the ladder, probably from being stepped on. ANy lessons lerned would be appreciated. I am interested in the material used, whether you modified the construction and if it made it stro...
