Oxidation on Seacock
In removing my battery for the winter, I noticed a great deal of bluish green oxidation on my port seacock for my cockpit drains, while the starboard one is clear. The seacock is relatively close to my positive battery terminal, as well as my controller for my solar panel. Does anyone have any idea ...

Re: CD 22 Rudder Issue
Thanks for the replies. I believe the connection from the tiller to the rudder post is tight. It is the post that has a little play in it.

Re: CD 25 question regarding outboard - underway and moored
I always left mine in, Matt. I had a 6 HP Tohatsu Sailpro motor in the well of my CD 25, and I can't imagine lifting it in and out all the time. And where would you put it once out? I painted the bottom half with anti-fouling paint every spring, but it still got fairly covered with marine growth. On...

CD 22 Rudder Issue
Hello CD Lovers, Yesterday I noticed a little bit of play between my tiller and my rudder post. It seemed worse than usual, but that might be my imagination as the conditions led to more correcting to be done. Is this something to be concerned about now, or can I wait to the off-season to address it...

Night on a CD 22
A week or two ago, I spent the night on our CD 22, Gezellig, with two of my grandchildren. We turned the lights out at 10:00 pm. The boys were up in the bow, and I was in the port berth in the main cabin. They went to sleep fairly quickly, but I was never able to fall asleep. To begin with, the bert...

Re: Outboard for CD25
I had a CD 25 and installed a 5 HP Tohatsu Sailpro propane motor in the well, after running a 6-HP Sailpro for several years. The propane motor was powerful enough and fit nicely in the well. You could even turn the head about 45 degrees to each side. The only problem I ever had (and still have) wit...

Thank you, Jean. That's very helpful. Did not know there was an online manual.

Re: CD 22 Main Sheet
I'd also like to know the length of the CD 22 main sheet if anyone has access to that information. Thanks!

CD 22 Main Sheet
Anybody out there have a main sheet that will fit a CD22? I cannot find mine anywhere, and I believe it was left behind at the dock when I had the boat hauled last fall. I'd rather find a good used one than go to the expense of setting up a new one. Thanks!

Re: CD 22 Questions...
Thanks, Carl. Using a shop vac to empty the tank is a great suggestion. I'll look for the posts by Bly Hartley. A friend of mine has an A-frame that we can use, but I'm just a little bit nervous about it. I gave the pump handle some really vigorous pull this afternoon, and it came free. So question ...

CD 22 Questions...
Hello everybody. Getting my CD 22 ready for the water and a few questions have come up: 1. I want to fill my bow tank with water to balance the boat, but I can't see how I can drain the tank in the fall. How does one do that? 2. Is there a trick to operating the pump handle in the sink? Mine won't p...
