Thanks. It was too corroded to take a good picture but it I think it is likely an anchor locker vent. Now I have to find a replacement. Mine was glued on. This is for a CD30.

Protip: before you disassemble and reassemble the head, you may want to check whether the thru hull isn't completely obstructed by marine growth...
