Re: Dinks. Size and where to put em?
Thank you all. Brilliant solutions really. I did exactly what Jim suggested in going around the boat with a tape measure even measuring the lockers. I've always wanted to build a pram and may still do it just for the hell of it but in the end I went with the Highfield model 230 (7'7" air floor)...

Dinks. Size and where to put em?
So I’m rewarding myself with a new inflatable due to missing the boat show this year.
I have a 27 and was wondering what dink solutions other guys have come up with as far as size and storage?

Re: GPS Antennae placement?
Yep. This package from defender comes with the splitter as well that I will share with my antennae up on the mast. It also has a separate mushroom shaped GPS antennae since it doesn't have an internal one. It also allows you to USB into your laptop and seek the best placement. This unit was recommen...

GPS Antennae placement?
So I'm adding an AIS transponder on my cd27. It requires it's own dedicated GPS antennae. (It's a vesper https://www.defender.com/product3.jsp?name=vesper-marine-xb-8000-smartais-transponder-with-built-in-wifi-bundle&path=-1|344|2028691|2028908&id=4863144) So I'm at a loss as to where to pla...

It is a 1-1/4" outside. Has anyone ever honed out their shaft log and installed a 1-3/16 O.D. bearing?

Re: CD 27 engine upgrade
My cd27 has a yanmar 2gm20f w/ 540 hrs on it. It can push her out to the bay at hull speed (about 1.5 miles out to the Chesapeake) At about 2400 rpm although I usually will have the sails up sooner. . The prop is the original 2 bladed 13" Michigan sailor. Reverse is still a crap shoot though wh...

Re: 1980 CD 27 For Sale - $5,000 (Deale, MD) Need to Sale Qu
Hi Dan, I know you already sold the boat but which flex-o-fold did you find to fit in the aperture? I also have a CD27 and couldn't find a folding prop anywhere to fit in there. I have a 13" Michigan sailor in there right now but wanted a bit of an upgrade to match the yanmar 2gm 20. Thanks!
