Re: Needed: CD22 Mainsail & Jib; wanted: suggestions
I have two season on new sails for my 22' Typhoon Senior that were made by Hallett Canvas and Sails in Falmouth, Maine. Fantastic sails, great price and terrific service both before and after getting the sails. Highly recommend.

Re: "carpeted bulkheads" in the Typhoon Senior
I have owned two Typhoon Seniors (still have the second one). Both have the so-called "monkey fur" in the interior.

Re: Typhoon Senior Outboard
We used to use a 5hp Honda long shaft which worked fine but was heavy and a tight fit. This year I switched to a 2.5hp long shaft. It is more than adequate for where we sail (Casco Bay, Maine), is light (so is easy to remove from time to time to clean growth off the lower unit), and the boat sits mu...

Interested in Learning More About Cape Dory 300MS
I am located in Maine and am interested in learning more about the 300MS as a possible option for our next boat. I am hoping there might be someone in the New England area who would let me spend an hour or so on their 300MS so I can get a real sense of whether it is worth considering further. Of cou...

Re: Rethinking the Dinghy - The "Portland Pudgy"
I own a Portland Pudgy. I purchased it somewhat on impulse as it was a "second" that the company was selling at a deep discount (I live about 5 miles from the Portland Pudgy HQ). For background, I have owned any number of inflatables, a Fatty Knees, a Trinka, a Boston Whaler Squall, a Puff...

Re: Seeking a CD 22 Trailer
I have a 22' Typhoon Senior and recently purchased a trailer for it from Alan Stewart (who posts often on this board). The trailer Alan built for me is dual-axle, galvanized and has 6 adjustable screw tops. The trailer built for me by Alan is great and I am very happy with it. Alan was super easy to...

Re: Outboard Decision for a 22-Foot Typhoon Senior
I have a Typhoon Senior that I sail out of Falmouth, ME.
I am planning to buy a new outboard for the upcoming season. It sounds like the Yamaha 6hp is a good option. Can owners of other TyS confirm that the late model Yamaha 6hp outboards will fit in the well of a TyS? Thanks.

Just FYI - The TyS and the CD22 do not have the same rig.

WTB: Trailer for 22' Cape Dory
I am looking for a trailer for my 22' Cape Dory Typhoon Senior. If you have one for sale or know of one for sale, please let me know. I am located in Maine but am willing to travel for a good trailer. Thanks.
