Hello, I'm always so happy to pull a line and have my Genoa rolled in seconds later .My Typhoon had a Hood flex furler. CDI makes one also.The Sail Warehouse has a package deal with sail and furler. You can also ask local sailmakers .I think you should go for it, you won't be sorry!!

Used today, gusting to 25 and shifty. Did not budge and normal retrieval in mud and rock bottom.Very happy!!!(so far)

You seem right on track. One final thing from me is your reef system, very much needed on breeze days. I rigged up simple slab reef to cockpit. Minor modifications and staying in cockpit is a good idea. Looking forward to seeing your progress!!

Hello, I upgraded to Lewmar EVO 15 selftailing winches. No problem mounting on Typhoon Senior. Selftailing is the way to go! . There are several styles offered by different companies.... not cheap but worth the investment,. BMag
