I found out it was an 1.5 inches and Spartan sent me a new dog washer and a couple screens that were bad. Spartan provides great service!
Thanks for everyone's comments. Paul

Spartan Seacock Size for a CD 330 1986
Anyone know what size the Spartan seacock is for a CD 330 sink drain? Took it apart today to re-grease and found out the dog washer was missing. Hoping to call Spartan and get a new washer once I know the size. Thanks, Paul

Re: Staysail Forestay Quick Release Suggestions
Thanks. I need to try to let the yankee back wind, then release. Maybe that is the primary problem. Thanks again. Paul

Cabin Sole Refinishing Suggestions
I would like to re-varnish my cabin sole and wondered if the veneer is thick enough to use a orbital sander, or should I do it by hand. Also, I am wondering if I should use a heat gun to remove the old varnish first. Cabin sole is not in bad condition, just want to clean it up a little and put a shi...

Re: Staysail Forestay Quick Release Suggestions
Hi Jim Yes, it's the yankee getting caught on the staysail sail when its out. I have to go up to the bow and pull it around the staysail forestay, it seems to be a constant issue in light and strong winds. I would assume my yankee is a bigger, based on your pictures. I begin to wonder if its a timin...

Staysail Forestay Quick Release Suggestions
Dear All, Getting tired of dealing with the headsail getting caught up with the staysail when tacking a lot and come to the conclusion I need to be able to quickly release the staysail forestay to avoid the constant catching of the head sail on the staysail. Love the staysail sail when on long runs,...

Re: Hatch Gaskets for CD 330
Thanks for sharing this information. I think I will pull a piece out and head down to Hamiltons to see if I can match it. I assume it comes in different sizes. Thanks again. Paul

Hatch Gaskets for CD 330
Looking for recommendations for hatch gasket replacement for a CD 330 1986 that is leaking. Appreciate any thoughts and if there is a replacement material other than purchasing Bowmar original gasket material. Thanks, Paul

Re: Temperature Issue on Universal M30 Diesel Motor
Thanks Jim for your reply. After adding approximately a quart of coolant the motor ran fine with the temp gauge staying right around 160 degrees, but would agree in your suggestion to replace the thermostat. Thanks!

Temperature Issue on Universal M30 Diesel Motor
This past weekend my temperature gauge spiked suddenly and the alarm went off but the motor seemed to be running fine. I turned off the motor and sailed back to the marina. I turned on the motor to get in my slip and the temperature looked fine, then suddenly jumped again. Motor is circulating water...
