Re: Cooling system problem - please help!

Maybe too simple but rev the engine a couple times. I changed an impeller once that was fine.

Re: Defender Marine Spring Sale March 18th

Having been a couple of times I second what Steve said. Not living near them any longer I have had stuff shipped and the rates seemed very reasonable. It is a fun place to visit either during the sale or at another time.

Re: 4hp 4stroke mercury outboard very difficult to start

We had a Merc. 5 hp 4stroke. By putting an additive in each tank and running it dry after use( takes longer then you would think) we never had a problem. We couldn't get ethanol free gas either.

Re: Max size 4 stroke outboard for CD 25 well?

I'm not sure what the largest one that fits is but a 4 stroke 6HP is plenty. You cannot go faster then hull speed and if you put a larger one in the weight will cause the boat will squat at the rear which isn't useful. This subject has been addressed a fair amount and you should be able to find long...

Re: Cockpit drain valves, educate me please

Crossing the hoses is fine if your boat is level, but if you are heeled over and would like the water you just got from a wave to drain you are out of luck.
