Re: Lazy jacks
I live in South FL and had Mack Sails in Stuart FL install mine. They may be able to make you up a set to install on your own. They are great. They also installed their Mack Pack sail cover integrated with the lazy jacks. It is awesome.

CD25 Trailer for Sale (and free motor)
I've got a twin axle trailer in nice shape for a CD25 in South Florida. Please reply if anyone needs one in the area. I also have a 20 year old 9.9 Evinrude electric start, 2 stroke that ran great (I upgraded to a 4 stroke). Motor is free, I'll look at reasonable offers for the trailer. Thanks.

Whisker Pole for CD25
Hi, I just got a 133 Genny for my CD25 and want to set-up a whisker pole. I got the Forespar 7-15' pole and it looks like it will be good but having some trouble with the ring for the mast. I thought I'd go with a fixed eye rather than on a track for simplicity (appreciate any thoughts on that decis...

Re: Lowering/Raising mast on CD25
I just stepped the mast on my recently acquired CD25. If you have a couple strong guys, it's no problem. I found pulling on the jib halyard was a nice insurance policy but not really necessary. Just put the aft pin in the mast step, and make sure the backstay and aft lowers are connected then go for...

Re: CD25 Mast Step
Good thoughts. Thanks. Yes, there seems to be a steel plate spanning the cabin ceiling/deck. The steel isn't stainless unfortunately. It's sandwiched between fiberglass so it's tough to say how rotted the steel is without some major cutting.

Re: CD25 Mast Step
Hi, any thoughts here from anyone? It seems like a relatively common problem with older CDs so I would think others would have run into it. Thanks so very much.

CD25 Mast Step
I recently bought a CD25 and am doing some work on it before I put 'er in. The deck is solid and the previous owner sailed her without incident. However from the cabin if you reach up into the mast step, you can feel rotted metal. The fiberglass under the metal is very solid. On survey, the surveyor...

Re: Stepping a CD25 mast on the water
Excellent! thank you. and doing on the water is no problem? I grew up as a one design centerboard sailor so not used to what you can do with a keel.

Stepping a CD25 mast on the water
Hi, does anyone know if it's possible/advisable to step a CD25's mast while on a protected canal? I've got it on the trailer at the moment and I want to have some bottom paint done by my favorite boat yard. The yard is inshore of a fixed bridge though. It would be great if they could splash the hull...
