I am going to re-install my thru hulls for my cockpit drains and need a wrench or installation tool. Anyone in the Northeast have one I could borrow (I'll pay for shipping). Or, want to sell?

Folks - I have sailed for many years, but dont understand the subtleties of the game: Is there a way to lay out my main on my basement floor and tell if its in ok condition? I have probably three to choose from.

Its a new-to-me Ty and it will not see water until next year.

yuk. Probably worth the effort. She's in my yard on stands, so might be easy to get done vs a haul out

Where'd you get the main and how much?

I just bought a typhoon this past summer and have not floated her yet. The ball valves for the thru hulls were a mess and I replaced them. Question: I failed to put thread tape/sealant on the threads valves and connectors. I tightened them the best I could with a thru hull wrench and appropriate too...

I recommend getting the retaining clip as well.

Radsailor - does the tiller extension stow ok on the stock/OEM curved tiller

Anybody add a tiller extension to their typhoon? I am thinking I will be sitting in multiple positions in the cockpit depending on conditions and crew and might benefit from an extension.

Looks like I might be buying all new spars for my Typhoon....mas, boom and rigging all destroyed in massive boatyard fire. 1980 Weekender, I have not found the OEM/Stock standing rigging. Apparently, I am not a very good "Searcher" and cannot find the data...can someone provide link? or me...
