Re: Solar battery charger for my CD25,
Ok, great! Northern tool! I’ll look at that. That’s what I was hoping. Something that works well and is not in the way. I just have one car battery(?) in the port sail locker to keep charged. I’m glad to know the alligator clips come with it. I’ll look at getting one today. I’m guessing Northern too...

Re: Solar battery charger for my CD25,
Very good information regarding the solar battery charger. As for now, all I have are running lights and interior cabin lights. I will look into my solar panel options. Thank you all!

Solar battery charger for my CD25,
Hello all, What do recommend as far as size, amps, where to buy a solar charging mat to plug into the battery to keep it changed while at my mooring? Is there a good place to get this solar mat that’s reasonably priced? I’m new to this as my old boat required no battery. Thank you for your help. Will

1980 (correction) Cape Dory 25 question...
Hello CD 25 owners! I’m looking at getting a 1980 (not 1975 as I thought) Cape Dory 25. I’m not sure if there are good or bad years relating to construction but is this a good year? The boat is good shape. Is there anything I should check in better detail? Also, how do you feel she sails in 6-8 knot...

Or you could have an epic summer adventure and bring her from the Finger Lakes to Chicago on her own bottom. Just a thought. Not many people ever get that much use out of their boat. Hi David! Oh, if I could do that, I would!! That would be one great article, book, film crew on hand event! Sailing ...

Re: Buying a CD25 question...
Here is one in Milwaukee. It was on the sailboatlistings.com web site, just google cape dory for sale by owner and you should find it. They are asking $3,500. The ad was posted in June 2016. Not sure if it is still available. If this works here is the link: http://www.sailboatlistings.com/view/5852...

The price is affordable for me, but I'd still like to negotiate if possible. One reason, I live in Chicago! Shipping you would be big. Al...

Good day to you! My name is Will and I'm replying to you about your CD25 that I found here. I know I'm far, (Chicago) but I'm still interested. May I ask, please... Is the deck ok or soft/softening? Does it possibly need recoring in spots? I see the keel. Does it need complete reworking? Is the inte...
