I hope to have the largest gathering of Cape Dories since the 90's. If you have not yet committed to being there, ...

Re: Born to Build: The History of Cape Dory
I loved the book- I bought the first hardcover version that was available.... I was actually hoping Andy was going to show up for the huge Cape Dory Rendezvous in st michaels, md in May. I figured he could have made arrangements to have his book sold at the maritime museum store.... He is not attend...

Re: cd25 port lights
Roger at Bristol Bronze has passed away. I am trying to buy his tooling from his son. But in the mean time, Paul at pfn makes reproduction plaques. He is trying to have a full line but to reproduce a plaque he must borrow an existing one. He has given the person that loaned him a plaque a new bronze...

Re: How to Build New Winch Pads
I will do that. I do have a spare pair of Murray MW-6's if you are looking.... and I know of a pair of MW-8 two speeds at a very reasonable cost. By the way, I am organizing a CDOA chesapeake fleet rendezvous May 10-12 (2024) at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime museum in St Michaels, MD. I know it is qui...

Re: How to Build New Winch Pads
They look great! I am in the process of welding up new winch bases to hold my "new to me" murray two speeds. I am trying to find a pair of used MW-4 for secondaries.... which is holding up the process.

John,
I love that picture! One of the next projects for our CD36 is moving the main sheet from the cabintop to the cockpit!
