The Cape Dory Board

There is a Cape Dory 24 in Annapolis. Does anyone know the owner? I am trying to get a ahold of him or her and personally invite them to the Cape Dory Rendezvous in St Michael's, md May 16-18......

I am trying to have virtually every model represented, and I would love to have a 24 trawler there!!!

Traditionally much cheaper than Bacon's in Annapolis is Minneys yacht surplus in Los Angeles. They have a vast number of sails and shipping is very cheap.

There is a 24 in Annapolis, but it does not have the sailing rig.

[/img][/img]Replacing my Bronze ABI 2 speed manual windlass. it has a gypsy for 3/8 BBB chain. I will be taking it off the boat in a few weeks.

The 36 next to me for the winter (Nutmeg) has a tiller.

when I took the steaming / decklight off my 36 it took the same bulbs that were in the cabin lights. I replaced the steaming light with an LED fitting. I have seen two 27's with an anchor roller. they looked ok to me!

In my 36, I added 4 inches of foam blueboard inside the icebox and then glasses it over.

I have a bronze 24" opening hatch that I plan to install in the sole of the cockpit in my cd36. I did something similar in my cd30

If money is no object, there is no reason not to install vacuum panels inside the box. these are thin, they are expensive (but not too bad). a 1" thick panel adds R-40 insulation
