Thank you for your comment, Russell. Yes, I have what I believe to be approximately 2.5" left on the forestay turnbuckle. If I can do this retrofit it will be undertaken later this year after the mast has been removed and the boat hauled for the winter. The yard will then readjust the forestay ...

Has anyone attempted too retrofit a bowsprit anchor roller platform on a CD27? I have seen a picture of a CD27 that had such a factory installed anchor roller platform. It appears to me that the platform can be retrofitted by removing the six bolts that attach the bronze forestay and chock fitting f...
