I can remove the transmission if anybody is iterested. Starter and alternator were fine, so was the water pump. I have selection of impellers, belts, original tools, etc.

Motor is in College Station, TX.

I was considering this init (Isotherm Compact 2010 Refrigeration System) from Defender to upgrade my CD27 icebox. Will appreciate any comments. It's air cooled and will run from 12V.

I removed running YSM8 from my CD27. If you need parts or the whole engine, send me a note. Alternator, starter, water pump, fuel pump, and so on are in good working condition. I will post pictures if someone is interested.

Brian, 12x5 Campbell sounds under pitched. Perhaps that's why you don't have much trust in reverse. From what I know about them 13x7 or 13x8 would be about right replacement for 13x10. As far as non-skid: I have used "Grizzly Grip". Great product. Works well on deck, I used it on my other boat. Comes in fine and coarse and many colors. Will be applying it on my 27 deck soon. Highly recommended. Google grizzly grip.

Shaft on my 79 CD27 is bronze, 1". YSM8 is still running, but is under powered and I am considering to re-power. 10 kW electric is a strong contender. I know, I know. But I like quiet... Otherwise I will go with Beta 14.
