Re: Differences between CD 27, 28, and 30?

Re: Engine Installation on the Far Reach

Congrats John! It's a wonderful feeling.

I ran the 10Kw electric motor today in both forward and reverse for about 10 minutes while spraying water at the cutlas bering or the end of the tube anyway. All systems are go for launch in a few weeks.

Re: " Leoma" update 4/15/21

I had the same problem with banging on my CD30C. The SS pin in the shoe was fine it was the bronze cup that is up in the rudder that was worn. I designed a custom delrin bushing to fit and after about 3000 nautical miles las season it is still very tight. Search on: Attachment(s) Loose fitting rudde...

My has the round disk that has a button that you push in then turn the disk. I have only used it a few times to test while on the h...

Re: Converting CD30C from Diesel to Electric propulsion

I came across this simple graphic on lead vs LiFePO4 batteries. It's just what I had mentioned earlier in the thread but very simple to see. Keith Screen Shot 2021-04-10 at 5.08.11 PM.png What does that mean “20 percent time consuming to recharge and difficult to access”? What’s the source of that ...
