Thanks for your input. Sounds like removing the water pump might be the better solution if I can't get the pulley off.

Thanks for the insights ... agree may have to replace water pump. My biggest concern is getting the darn crankshaft pulley off right now!

Replacing impeller on 1GM Yanmar for my 25D. Recognize the need to replace the impeller and would like to install the "speedseal" kit, but having a devil of a time getting access to the cover. Feel like the main crankshaft pulley has to be removed first and it won't budge. Any ideas on how...
