Re: Taylor's Kerosene Burners

Thought it wise to add that these are the desirable 4-leg burners as opposed to the less efficient 2-leg varieties. I also added a copy of price sheet.

Taylor's Kerosene Burners

I have two, new (in the box) Taylor's Kerosene burners. These are for the pressurized kerosene stoves/heaters. They have a light coat of soot, but Taylor tests their products before shipping. I paid $164 each (and we won't even discuss the freight from UK) and will sell both for $275 plus freight fr...

Re: need advice or confort

Jeff, that is a pretty Typhoon. You probably are a little on the high side considering your distance from the East Coast (where the Typhoon has more name recognition) and the time of year. It seems people would be more swayed by a beautiful little vessel come Spring time. I've had a Typhoon for almo...

Re: Replacing T Track on toe rail

Thanks, Dick. I'm trying to get a mental picture of the tool you described. I am a big fan of Sears tools and rarely need much of an excuse to visit them. It sounds like a tool no man should be without.

OK, Steve, I am slightly encouraged by the fact my T track has not been held on by wood screws. Thanks

Replacing T Track on toe rail

Hello, all. I have replaced the head sail on my CD30C (a yankee), with a larger 110. The new sail is not cut nearly as high as the old sail, so I will need to add track farther forward on the toe rail. Instead of butting a new track up against the old track, I have decided to remove the old track an...

Re: CD 28 Salvaged Gear after Hurricane Sandy

Dennis, could see forward any pictures of the winches? I would imagine that they would be suitable for a CD 30. I'm just not familiar with Barlow. Also, if you want to contact me direct, jameshubbard87@gmail.com or (361)946-1020.

Thanks
