What size Rocna anchor is best for CD28
I recently bought my CD28 and I'm thinking of replacing the CQR anchor with a Rocna. Looks like either the 22lb. or 33lb. would be right from the size charts I've seen. Does anyone have any hands on experience with either? Also has anyone tried or have any thoughts on the Rocna Vulcan?

Re: non-skid deck paint color
Bill at Robinhood told me the original is "Biloxi beige gelcoat." I don't know how it compares to the Kiwi color you mentioned.

Re: Minimum HP needed to power a CD25 on East coast near Bos
To elaborate I think the 5 hp is adequate for the CD25 but slightly underpowered. A four-stroke 6 hp engine is perfect for the boat in my opinion.

non-skid deck paint color
My 1980 CD25 has, I think, original beige non-skid paint on molded in non-skid pattern. I like the color and want to find paint to match. Does anyone know of a good paint that is a close color match? It doesn't have to match perfectly as I'm planning to do all the non-skid on my cockpit sole.

Re: Minimum HP needed to power a CD25 on East coast near Bos
I have a Honda 5 hp and it works fine. I think its noisy and someday I'm planning to upgrade to a Tohatsu 6 hp that will also charge my battery.

Re: Cape Dory 25D for sale
Bobrob I'm shocked you didn't just come right out and say this boat is worth half what the seller is asking. Have you reformed?

Re: 1980 bronze port CD25 for sale
Perhaps it is the custom as you say. But having looked at many boat listings on this site I've never seen such bargaining done in message board public posts. In fact your offers are the only ones I've seen and I've never seen a counter offer to your posted half-price bids or any other counter offers...

Re: 1980 bronze port CD25 for sale
I couldn't help but noticing that you have been making public low ball bids on several Cape Dorys of varying sizes and prices for well over a year now. My impression is that you will buy almost any CD that someone is willing to give you for way less than it is worth. This repetition of your offer wh...

Re: spring cleaning
I took forever using my foot pump. I got the whole interior lemon oiled while I was waiting for the sink to drain umpteen times. Also removed a broken hatch adjuster, vacuumed and cleaned out my tool box.
