Boat launched and sails really well.

I had a productive weekend, we got the mast up. Everything fit well. Boat is going in the water this Friday.

getting ready to splash, stripes are on companion way all re-painted, rigging is new.

Mine looked just like that. I made new ones out of Mahogany and sprayed with Awlwood. looks better than new.

Are there any CD sailors in the SE Florida region? Looking for a cruisers group around Ft. Pierce, PSL or Stuart area.

The non skid is more tan than they look in the pics. I believe it is Bristol beige.

I ended up making some out of 3/16" alum. and 1/4" acrylic, nice low profile, they almost look original

I like the wood and bronze look. The non-skid is GRIPTEX from Awlgrip, non skid particles you mix in with the paint. I was pleased how it turned out. All the exterior wood is solid mahogany. I have about 12 coats of sprayed on Awlbright wood finish from Awlgrip, really turned out nice.

The original winches were nasty chrome that I had stripped and found solid bronze. With a little elbow grease they cleaned up nice. I like the polished bronze look better, just more upkeep.

I have a '75 25' I don't think the deck is cored, I am almost finished with my re-furbish job and I was inspecting the chain plates for the shrouds and those don't have backing plates either, I'm wondering if they laminate them in the fiberglass?

It's been a few years in the making however I am almost finished, just a couple touch ups then the rigging. Here a few pics of how she looks now.

Hi. I'm in the middle of rebuilding my 1975 25' CD. Looking for new windows or a company that can fabricate some for me. I have 4 of the large frames and glass, just need them re-assembled but I need 2 of the small one's up front?

I am in the middle of a full restoration of this 25. I stripped every piece of anything off her. Painted inside and out and now I'm looking for the small silver alum. framed port holes in the forward cabin. Question is ? Any idea who made them way back when or who might make some replacements today?...
