Re: AirHead Installation in Cape Dory 30
Greetings, I started the Airhead install on Amiable last year, and haven't been able to finish it yet due to COVID restrictions - getting to the boat is difficult. I chose the same unit you did. I need to finish the patch from the removal of the seacock. I installed a solar vent near the dorade box-...

Re: Need length of CD30 Cutter club boom and other dimension

I'm spending some time trying to figure out what parts I'm missing from what looks like an old Schaeffer wire furler.... where goes ...

Volvo MD7A from my 1981 CD30
Greetings, I've decided to re-power with an electric drive so I'm offering for sale the MD7A that's currently on board. The engine starts and runs, but needs attention...injectors at least. She's been in freshwater since the mid-late 90's. It's still in the boat, I'm going to begin the removal proce...

CD 30C club boom attachment
Hi All, Does anybody haven a photo of the hardware linking the end of the club boom to its deck attachment? I'm missing those bits and would like to replace them, and want to see how it was originally done before I get creative... Also, the boat came with an old Schaefer free furler without attachme...

I'm drawing down on next winter...the old Volvo has it's charms, but I am really into the idea of no oil, no smoke...for a sailing craft all I see are up sides...
Has anybody else gone this way?

Edit...
I meant I'm not free in the sense that I will be at work that weekend.
$20.00 seems perfectly reasonable for a buffet.

New CD 30 in the family...
New to us at any rate, I closed yesterday and will be transporting it to the sunny shores of Newport, VT in a few weeks. I'm excited about the boat, and am looking forward to digging into some of the projects I've got ahead of me. The information found on this site was a contributor towards my decis...
