I have one and agree they are very tender. I am in the process of adding foam-swimming noodles to it to gain some stability. Not as trim as the ones from the factory but a lot cheaper.

Do you think this could be fitted to a 28?

Does anyone know where the center of gravity fore and aft is on a Cape Dory 28?

And anyone have knowledge of tabernacle mast mounts for the CD 28?

I will be removing a running Volvo MD2B in the next month to install a Beta 25. I plan to go offshore and want the assurance of a new engine. The Volvo will be for sale if you are interested.
Or the Beta line of engines is a good option.
