Re: Holding tank

It seems like there was a period there, when tanks were put in all over the place and of varying sizes. The CD28 I'm going to look at, Andiamo, is advertised on this site in Dighton, MA so I'll find out next week. Thanks for all the input.

Re: Holding tank

Thanks; I haven't been able to fathom 60 gallons of water under the v-berth, not just in terms of space but the weight in the bow. Every drawing that I've ever seen of a 1978 CD 28 has the water tanks under the port and starboard settee berths. I'm heading up to see the boat mid-April and will let y...

Re: Holding tank

According to the owner that is selling the boat, the v berth has 60 gallon water tank under it. If so, where would the holding tank be?

Holding tank

Does anyone know the location and capacity of the holding tank on a 1978 CD 28?

access hatch

Why not put a watertight access hatch in the cockpit floor? One that will allow you to work on both the shaft and back of engine.

Still looking for that special CD22. Good price for a good boat.

CD22

No apology necessary. The CD25D was designed by Alberg, the CD 25 by George Stadel, if I'm not mistaken. The 25's are cool, but I think that the 22 is one of the prettiest boats that Cape Dory ever did.

Yes, I knew that...a slip of the keyboard. Not even the same designer.

Thanks Sea Hunt, but the Typhoon senior is a very different boat inside. Same hull but not laid out as well. I'll watch for a CD25 for you and you watch for a CD22 for me. Be well.....

CD22 Wanted

After weathering last year's financial crisis, I'm again looking for a boat, albeit with slightly lowered ambitions. I'm looking for a CD22, early- mid 80's in good to very good condition, anywhere on the East Coast. I'm more interested in the structural integrity of the boat (hull/deck, sails, rigg...

Seeking a CD22

After weathering last year's financial crisis I am again in the market for a Cape Dory, albeit with lowered ambitions. I'm looking for an early to mid 80's CD 22 in at least very good condition, on the East Coast. I'm more concerned with structural integrity (hull/deck, rigging, sails) than electron...

CD25D

Yo Seahunt, You missed the 2 best 25D's I've ever seen this summer at VERY good prices. The one in NC is lovely; I know the man who owns her, she's been in fresh water for a long time and she' pristine. Yeah, the 27 is bigger, but the 25D is a solid able cruiser that would take you anywhere.Besides,...
