There certainly were changes in the interior of the CD25 over the years. There was a shift from Herreshoff (sp?) straight interior bulkheads, to curving bulkhead edges. Since you used a fuel stabilizer, I would be inclined to mix fresh gas with the old gas and use it in the outboard. The biggest threat with old gas is by gumming up the carburetor.
