Looking for information about converting existing winchs to self tailing with an add-on plastic spool that attachs to existing winch. I have seen them but don't know where to look.

Cd 22D New to me
Hello Cape Dorians. While trying to sell CD 27 hull #1 (restoration project that proved to be too big for me) I stumbled upon a 1984 22D that needed a new owner. She is a very sweet little boat and in very good condition. I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with. I need to do some...

Rusty Chainplates
I recently removed the on-deck shroud fittings from my CD 27. In the process of banging, crashing, and swearing the cabin was showered with chunks of rusted metal. replacement tiller
My recently purchased CD 27 came without a tiller. The boat was previously converted to pedastal steering, but I plan to return to tiller steering. I'm trying to find a replacement which would be a close match to the original. Or, based on this discussion, should I opt for something beefier? Any tho...

Hello board members. This is my first posting, so wish me luck.
