CD 10 Light blue interior paint: does anybody know specs?
I'm back to working on my CD 10 and have reached a point where getting it painted is not that far off in the future. The interior of my boat has chipped medium-blue paint, with a much lighter shade of blue showing through at the chipped areas. I'd like to prep, then re-finish the interior with a pai...

Re: Cape Dory 10 Restore Status
Looks really good! So how difficult was it to prepare and re-gelcoat the boat? I just got a CD-10 in somewhat rough condition (all there, but needs chipping paint removed... "soft" gunnels need replacing) any pointers on replacing the gunnels/sourcing mahogany for the job? Your pictures ar...

CD-10 Gunnel replacement
Hi. One of my winter projects is going to be the replacement of the badly deteriorated mahogany gunnels on my CD-10. I checked the archives, but could find little information on the topic. Has anyone out there had experience with making/sourcing replacement mahogany gunnels for a CD-10? I'm OK with ...

Re: CD-10 original "SPOON OARS:" Does anybody have images?
Thanks, both of you... S&T have a beautiful website with lots of choices. Do you happen to know if S&T were the suppliers of the original oars supplied by Cape Dory? -- as long as I'll be spending that much money, I might as well try to be as authentic as possible!

CD-10 original "SPOON OARS:" Does anybody have images?
Hi. I just got a CD-10 that has some clunky, new straight oars, instead of the originals. I'd like to replace them with something that's as close to the originals as possible. Does anybody have any photos or information on the original Cape Dory-supplied oars that came with these boats when they wer...

Anyone know if Typhoon Weekender line drawings available?
I've got a Typhoon Weekender, and since I sail on Lake Ontario, I've had to have it hauled for the winter. Since I can't move the actual boat to my living room to admire its lines over the next 7 or 8 months, I'm hoping that I can get a line drawing of the Weekender hull with rigging and sails in pl...

Replacement for Typhoon's Round "PYHI" inspection
I was recently able to order an exact replacement for the inspection port cover through West Marine. They get it through Bowmar. I can't remember the exact part number, but if you measure the opening on your boat and check the Bowmar website, you should be able to tell West Marine exactly what you n...
