Hi folks,

I use a Johnson 8hp with a 25" shaft. Anybody out there using a 20" shaft motor? Is it sufficient to keep the propeller submerged under power in chop and swells?

Hi, The ports on the '77 were originally plastic. They switched to bronze in the late models (can't recall the year/s), and I'm pretty sure the late model bronze ports are not the same size as the plastic ports on the '77. That friggin boat must be from another planet. It's beautiful, but I'd hate to have to sand all the bottom paint off, so for now I'll just enjoy my cd25.

Hi-

I need a little help. I'm going to be looking at a CD25 to purchase in Cinton CT in the next week or two. I need a good surveyor to work with in that area, one who knows Cape Dory's preferably. Any leads would be much appreciated.
