Color scheme

When we refurbished our Typhoon, the color combo we ended up with was white decks, light gray non-skid areas. Ours was an older Typhoon whose original colors were white decks/blue non-skid. Like you, we wanted to keep her looking traditional, and this worked for us.

moisture build-up on/under GPS screen

Has anyone had this problem? There seems to be a moisture build-up around the edges of the screen of my GPS unit. (Garmin 172C). I can honestly say that the unit has never been wet, or doused by a wave, etc. and if anything, only exposed to a little of the morning dew as a result of leaving the cove...

removing dried varnish splatters

Can anyone tell me how to remove dried varnish splatters from the interior cabin roof? The varnish used was epifanes, and the cabin roof/ceiling is painted with interlux 1-part paint. I'm afraid that any solvent that will dissolve the varnish may also take away the paint. Or is there a way to remove...

Self-tending Jib

I'm quite interested in the club-footed jib set-up as well. Has anyone else modified their boat this way? I'd be quite interested in more details since this is something I'd like to do on my Ty.
