The Cape Dory Board

My very old Evinrude 15hp is dying - been looking on the board and trying to assess the feasibilty of a Nissan 8hp 4 stroke in my 1974 CD25. Would be very interested in any experience you might have along these lines - will it fit? If not, how much cutting might I need to do? Alternatives? Thanks, H...

I am thinking of replacing an old and tired Hood furler with the CDI Flexible Furler. In checking the archives I found a couple of entries with very favorable reviews but they date back a few years. Does anyone have any new thoughts on the CDI's?

Can anyone direct me to an Avon Inflatable service center in Michigan? The Avon web site does not seem to display the US Service Centers. Any experiences with Avon repairs would be appreciated.
