Typhoon trailer

Ned, After looking at a few mfrgs., I bought a trailer from Triad in CT 2 years ago. It is a very well -built trailer - a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. There are options available 7 each trailer is custom built. I wouldn't hesitate to trailer my boat across the country with this trailer....

Brass/bronze strakes

Thanks to all for the help. Looks like Hamilton Marine is the place. Checked w/Bristol Bronze who had bronze half ovals but at more than double the price for brass. After some weathering, will probably not see much difference between the brass & bronze

Thanks for the reply, John. I will certainly give it another "go". I was looking more specifically for strakes which are of minimal length. From what I have seen, minimum lengths for purchase are 12-16' with a minimum price of $118/length. Kind of an overkill for strakes but I guess it wou...

bronze/brass strakes &/or rub rails

Has anyone found a recent source for either &/or both of the above items?? Have not had any luck with Spartan, Jamestown, etc.

I also have a Weekender which my son & I step & unstep the mast w/little difficulty. I have no conception as to how one person can do it alone. My thought was to move up to a 22 & didn't know if such presented any unforseen circumstances.

Stepping the mast on the 22 vs. weekender

How much more difficult is it, if at all, to step the mast of the CD22 vs the Weekender -- weight, height, etc.
