Re: bowsprit repair for limited rot. Is epoxy the solutiom -
Great Job! Did you allow the epoxy to cure between the strips or did you lay up everything at once to complete your repair?

Re: bowsprit repair for limited rot. Is epoxy the solutiom -
Riveredge: I am ready to start repair! Since I have a quantity of West #610 in cartridge form and easy to dispense via caulking gun - I thought I would use that up. How thick are your teak strips? Do you think the #610 would work as well as the G Flex? Again, I appreciate your comments!

Riveredge: Thank you for your response-it sounds like the method I can use. Is G Flex made by West? I would appreciate any other info on your repair-sanding -planing-for cosmetic appearance.

Re: cabin sole1982 CD 30
Ben: Thank you for your response-I have not been using the head sink so I don't think that was my problem-I think I was dealing with moisture getting beneath the finish which I have sanded and applied a new coat of finish with acceptable results.

cabin sole1982 CD 30
Have noticed some delamination adjacent to the cabin sole. appears to be a veneer-managed to tuck some epoxy beneath to secure-wondering if the sole and adjacent area is teak veneer and how to repair if this continues and where would this material be obtained?
Thanks,
Jack Kelley

Mast head light/deck light
CD 30 mast light not working -have replaced three prong connectors and checked bulbs. Perhaps problem in the light itself. Light appears to be fastened to the mast by slotted screw/bolt. Difficult to remove to access the light itself. Circuit breaker trips whenever lights are turned on. Appreciate a...

Emptying water tanks at seasons end
How can you avoid the labor of simply standing and using your foot pump to empty two tanks of water. This may seem simple - but would appreciate any input.
