Hide-n-seek

I pulled my service and parts manual for my M25 (at least the copy the PO gave me) and I can not find any chart that speaks to the fuel consumption rates at different RPMs.

If someone has this chart for the Univ. M25 -- and can make a copy of same--- please contact me.

Thanks PC

Filter Element, 5 Micron to small?

I have a Racor 500 as my Primary filter. How small of a filter element can I get away with (or should)? Example, "Will a 5 micron just starve the engine or be fine for fuel flow but gunk-up (technical term :-) ) up to quickly?" There are several threads about multi-configurations of filter...

Fuel Flow Calculation for Univ. M25

Where can I find fuel flow rates for my Universal M25 engine (at different RPMs)? I want to create a range / fuel usage chart.

Thank you,

PC

Changed Filters

I suspected I had a clogged filter and have since replaced both my secondary and primary filters. I have some shakedown time on Friday, will see just how things run.

Thanks, PC

"Air Visitor", not welcome in fuel system

A few weeks ago my engine would not start. To fix this, I had to bleed some air out (using the bleed screw in the Crescent fuel fitting) on my Univ. M25. This was a real surprize, since I have not any any issues with an "air visitor", in over a years worth of weekends. I would be intereste...

Discussion Board Open/Closed, set aside for a minute...

Sure, its clear there needs to be some "discussion" and "decision" around an open or closed area (fine.) Maybe an item for the CDSOA Board to discuss? A good question is raised, just how many folks are, "registered"? Can our Web-managers help answer that? In the mean ti...

Events and Planning Discussion Board for Members

I would like to float an idea to the CDSOA Board? How about creating a members only (meaning you must be a registered CDSOA member), discussion group for the sole topic of scheduling, announcing, and even planning CD-Events (like cruises). Why not the events page? I like the "events", page...

Installation Locaiton.

Chuck,

Good point about the noise... BTW, just where on your 30 did you install the unit? What did you have to give up?

Thanks, P

History with Air Conditioners

I would like to hear from owners who have AC units that are more than two years old. I general, I would be interested in the pros and cons about your specific brand. There are several choices out there: Mermaid, Cabin Mate, Cool Mate, etc, I am looking to get some sense of how your brand unit held u...

Garmin 276C

I choose the Garmin GPSMap 276c. I added blue charts chip and have liked what I got. The format is large enough to see, but not so large as to become a major focus at the helm. It also does road routing, as its designed to be used in Automotive or Marine mode. Shop around on the net, I found unit fo...

Remove Clock, then spray...

You can pull the clock off the mounting, then I see no reason why you can't spray away. The other option might be to pull the brass pins and spray (or not) the "Knott". Enjoy.
