bonding
Hi Scott, Matt has probably got it right and there is probably some seepage. My cd22d had the same problem and required replacement because the seepage had cut a groove in the valve body. My CD has bonding wires from the shrouds and stays to a grounding plate on the keel and to the seacocks. It is p...

Poltergeist
Sounds like a missing ground. Perhaps the cabin lights are supplying a ground to the system when they are turned on. (One side of the lights are grounded) Another reason this could be is because the pilot lamp has only two connections, power and ground. If the ground is missing it won't light. The g...

transducer
Thank you, cutting holes in the hull is a little scary when you are on your own. The p-79 is an "in hull" transducer and hopefully it will work better in contact with the outside hull rather than the lining. The dead rise is adjustable on the p-79. Thanks again, See ya Charles.

debth transducer instal
I've read a lot of posts about in-hull debth transducer installations but no one has mentioned the hull liner. Has anyone had to deal with this? I need to install a new P-79 in hull transducer and could sure use some suggestions on dealing with the liner. Transducer location ideas would be helpful a...
