CD 30 Hull # 117 will be totalled due to our friend Ike
Some sorry news, my CD 30, Munin, was at the Watergate on pier 13. I left her bow in on the third slip in, and she ended up halfway down the pier on top on another boat, bow out, with her bow and stern (doubled up) lines still attached. Apparently the whole pier gave way, and piled up all the boats ...

Well done.
I had done a search a few weeks ago, and was surprised that I hadn't seen any entries. Good job!

All, I just had this problem on my new CD30. The old muffler had rusted out, apparently due to an oversized line running to the muffler. My shipyard could not find any commercial replacement (including Spartan) to fit the space, so I am now waiting for a machine shop to fab up a new one. It should b...

George, I should be there. I have sent in my application and check for the group, so should be signed up now... Also, if any of the group would like to help me get to know my new boat, I will buy the beverages! I have never operated a deisel, marine head or electronic system, so I have quite a bit t...

JD and Chuck, Thanks for the advice and welcome. I think I have pretty much decided to haul her; the logistics seem to be a pain in the @#$ to do the crossing given my time constraints. I am looking quite forward to joining the CD Gulf Fleet. And once she is in her new home here, I would welcome any...

Thanks for the congratulations. I have the survey set for Tuesday at 10am, and Steve Kuhar, from this group, has graciously agreed to look her over with me. I am quite anxious to look her over. I will take a bunch of pictures and post a report next week! As for my route back to Houston - I don't kno...

The search is over, bid accepted. Thanks to all and help!
All, Thanks to everyone on the board during my search for my very own CD. After looking at several CDs, and bidding on two, I have been informed that my bid for "Wings of Morning", a 1979 CD30, hull # 117 was accepted. She is currently in Carabelle, FL, and her first passage under my owner...

All,
Can anyone reccomend a marine surveyor in Jackson, Mississippi? Preferably one with CD experience.
