Big decision

No, it takes more than "GUTS", it takes a dedicated decision to drop everything you have and know and move into a completely new world. This is NOT a decision to be made lightly. We have seen many couples buy the boat and refit it, then get cold feet when it was time to leave the marina an...

Retired, went cruising and don't regret a minute

I was in your position in 1993, when our company wanted to down size. They "asked" everyone over 50 to consider early retirement with a nice package. I have never regretted jumping at it with both feet. We went out and bought a CD Intrepid 40 and have cruised the Caribbean for 15 years. We...

Intrepid 40's

Welcome to the Caribbean!

Hay guys, You almost have me crying. Why not retire and come on down to the Caribbean where you never have to pull your boat and winterize. Well, you do have to pull it every other year to do a new bottom paint. I have a great CD Intrepid 40 for sale in Trinidad that will cure your winter blues. Oh,...

Re: Specs? Manual?

Good evening, I have sent Cathy a set of specs for my boat. I recently found a Xerox copy of the original Sales broucher which I'll happly share. Does anyone know of other Intrepid 40's? I know that at least 5 were built. Depending on who you talk to ie., Robinhood marine or Chuck Paine there are at...
