The Cape Dory Board

The MSB (aka: reverse gear) is, in fact water cooled. It is the "first" recipient of fresh water, even before the raw water pump! I have never done anything special for, but alas, KAYLA & I live in the Northwest Florida Panhandle and rarely if ever have major freezes.

They are great people to deal with!

Comparing a Beneteau First 32 to dang near any Cape Dory is apples vs oranges... at least in my book!
So much more depends upon the skill of the crew and the condition of the sails, especially with big wind and/or waves.
