FS: Sails for CD30K

I have a set of sails for a Cape Dory 30 Ketch. They are used but in decent condition (I would say 6/10). They were made by Vector Sails (formerly of Chicago, IL). The sails also come with two sail covers (Pacific Blue). The sails are located in Portland, ME and, preferably, I would like to sell to ...

Re: The right tender

I have tried many dinghies trying to find the "perfect" one (that is, the one with the least number of compromises). As much as I wanted to love it, I was not crazy about the CD10. It had gorgeous lines and rowed well but was tippy and did not have great load capacity. I had the sailing ri...

22' Typhoon Senior on Cape Cod

I still have my Typhoon Senior for sale. She is No. 49 and was built in 1987. I am the second owner and have owned her since 1996. I have 3 sails (main and 2 headsails) all of which are in good condition (just gone over and cleaned by Hallett sails in Maine). She has always been taken care of and ea...

Did any of you receive your sails from Somerset yet? If so, any feedback you can provide would be great. I am thinking of ordering some new sails for my Typhoon Senior. Thanks.

I contacted this seller as well and after sending me some odd, unhelpful e-mails, refusing to ship and sending me pictures of a hull that was clearly not a CD, I passed on the offer. After doing so, the seller sent me a very odd and nasty message. I would say buyer beware on these.

For Sale: CD 10

I have decided to sell my CD 10. She is a great boat and lives up to the reputation (well built and rows like a dream). Sails pretty well too. Not sure what year, but she is hull #1577. Boat is in good condition but could stand to have the interior cleaned up. I just stripped, epoxied and repainted ...

Thanks for the link to this ad. I have looked at this boat and, unfortunately, it is pretty junky and the "new" mast has a crack in it already.

WTB: Handy Cat

If anyone has or knows of a Handy Cat for sale, please PM me. I am located in New England but would travel for the right boat. Thanks in advance.

Handy Cat

Can anyone give me their thoughts on the Handy Cat, specifically how they sail? (I have a lot of experience with cat boats, just never seen a Handy Cat before) I am looking at one next week which is for sale here in Maine. Any advice on what the "problem areas" are for a Cape Dory built Ha...

Sailing the CD 14

I know that the CD 14 is a beautiful boat and that it rows very well. However, can anyone tell me how it handles with the sailing rig?

To be clear, I am talking about the CD 14 and not the Handy Cat.

Thanks for your input.

CD-10 and CD-14 Molds

Does anyone know if the molds for the CD-10 and CD-14 are still in existence and, if so, where they might be?
