CDSOA Northeast Fleet Rendezvous 2010
Bristol, RI
August 1-3, 2010

Our main event of the summer is the Cape Dory Rendezvous which will take place in Bristol, Rhode Island from August 1-3.

Cape Dorys should begin arriving on Sunday, August 1st and anchor or moor in Bristol Harbor which is located essentially in the middle of Narragansett Bay north of Newport. Sunday evening will be unstructured giving the crews a chance to meet, boathop and socialize, with a potluck dinner in the evening. Monday morning we'll meet at the Bristol Yacht Club for breakfast, followed by a presentation by Dan Calore of North Sails Direct. You'll have the afternoon to explore the lovely town on your own or as a group. In the evening we'll get together for cocktails and then head off to casual dinners with old and new friends. Tuesday morning it's back to the yacht club for breakfast, followed by a Captains' Meeting and a "Cape Dory Race to Nowhere". We'll meet once again in the evening for cocktails and a gala dinner followed by the big "giveaway".
