Our main event of the summer is the Cape Dory Rendezvous which will be in Buzzards Bay Massachusetts from July 20-22.

The first two days of the rendezvous will be in New Bedford, which has a rich maritime history. A visit to the New Bedford Whaling Museum is a must-see. New Bedford is also the home of Edson Marine, Schaefer Marine & New England Ropes and we have been invited to tour their facilities as well as R&W Rope Warehouse. We’ll cap our time in New Bedford off with a group dinner reception at the New Bedford Whaling Museum on Monday. On July 22, we’ll have a good-natured fun “race” across Buzzards Bay to Red Brook Harbor. The top prize for the race will be bragging rights. No committee boat, no protests, and no formal start or finish line -- ust line honors. For those who don’t want to “race” that’s fine too. We’ll spend the night of the 22nd in Red Brook Harbor where the rendezvous will conclude with a group barbecue at the clubhouse of the Red Brook Harbor Yacht Club at Parker’s Boat Yard.
