The Narragansett Bay Float-in is being hosted by Sue
and Dick Graefe at their home at 40 SeaView Avenue,
North Kingstown, RI on Saturday, July 17th,
and Sunday, July 18th. The event will be informal
but will include a barbecue dinner Saturday afternoon into the
evening. We have a large deck and lawn for lounging and visiting
[See Figures #1 and 2 below].
The view of the bay is excellent with the Jamestown Bridge to
the south and Fox Island opposite us. There is a nice beach
for swimming and sunning and a wildlife refuge for hiking. Children
are welcome. Wickford Village with its quaint shops is also

If you can’t get there by boat, hop in the car (see the
Driving Directions at the
end of this document).
“Sail
Rhode Island” has been cancelled but "Tall
Ships Rhode Island" has stepped up to the plate and
there will be a fleet of tall ships gathering at Goat
Island in Newport, July 16-19. We
won't be able to provide transportation to that event but those
coming to the float-in at North Kingstown via boat, may want
to sail up East Passage on the way to/from the float-in to get
a gander at the tall ships.
[NOTE: The fee to cover the cost of food and supplies
for the barbecue is $12.00 per person for CDSOA members; $15.00
per person for non-members.]
Please monitor VHF Ch. 16 and 68
for fleet communications.

so please print, complete
and mail in the registration form by July
10th.
Should shelter become necessary, you're in need of repairs,
or if a slip or mooring would be preferred, Brewer
