February 19: Chesapeake Fleet 8th Annual Groundhog Day ExtravaganzaSOLOMONS ISLAND, MD This year’s Groundhog Day Extravaganza will be held at the Solomons Island Holiday Inn Select on Saturday, February 19th, and promises to get your spring sailing off to a proper start. Our guest speaker, the beloved founder of the CDSOA Al Lawton, will relate his experiences aboard SARAHGAY (CD33) on his recent 4,000 mile trip to Trinidad. We will hold the briefest possible meeting, to elect a new Fleet Captain, and entertain any other Fleet business. Details of the coming season’s cruises will be presented. Add in dinner and the chance to chat with those who truly understand your passion for the Cape Dory for a superb weekend. Holiday
